Some classes may span multiple academic terms, for instance seminars, internships, etc. Putting these classes into the same class group as other classes that are only for one quarter or semester can be problematic, especially if you later want to hide that class group after its academic term has ended. To accommodate this, we recommend creating a separate class group just for the class that spans multiple academic terms.
